I recently discovered a very unique restaurant in Bricklane; Brick Lane Tandoori. I first went there with my friends and since then I have been going back regularly. The Brick Lane Tandoori Restaurant is indeed a well-known place for local foodies.
The ‘Brick Lane Tandoori’ is a restaurant situated in Brick Lane, known as the heart of East London, in the borough of Tower Hamlets. Bricklane is a favourite hangout place for people from the polo, horse races, and golf world. It’s also a well-known street with Indian cusiness. Today, it is the heart of the country’s Bangladeshi community with the vicinity known to some as Banglatown. It is famous for its many curry houses, including Brick Lane Tandoori restaurant, started serving Indian cuisines a year ago and became manys favoite place, including mine after my friend and I visited to restaurant.
As you enter the place you are welcomed by a magnificent setting, a delightful marriage of antique design and the luxuries of modernity. Sitting in any table you have a wonderful view of the street where you can see the busy street.
There are more than 100 types of Indian dishes and tandoori dishes in their ever expanding menu. Patrons can choose to cook their favourite chicken in Indian styles. I strongly recommend their delicious green chicken as you can taste all the chicken at one go. The menu offers a wide variety of mouth-watering starters and main. Green chicken comes with all natural herbs. “I have made it very special way which you won’t find any any other restaurant. said Master Chef Abdul Tarafer, in response to our question what makes it different to others. The green chicken comes with a Goan dish cooked in fresh green herbs, garlic, green chillies and finished with lemon juice. Mr. Tarafer underlined that “We specialise our dishes according to customer preference as they like to be cooked. We use our own recipes which is very much different than others in that area. All my menus and recipes were developed by myself.”
Brick Lane Tandoori is multi-award winning restaurant. They recently won “The Best Curry Award in 2022” as a newcomer of the year from Asian Curry Award.
Apart from that, their staff are very knowledgeable and can easily recommend their signature or special dishes to you. They are attentive and efficient. They are trying their best to make sure we were enjoying in the restaurant.
All-in-all, I would rate Brick Lane Tandoori Restaurant 5 out of 5 stars which is also given by Trip Advisor reviewers. Its dining atmosphere, food and service quality are excellent. The prices for tandoori and chicken are slightly above average but other than that, it is quite reasonable. I would definitely recommend it to all Indianfood lovers.
