Sultan Restaurant – Come for Turkish Cuisine

Stay for the Atmosphere

Sultan is The local favorite

I love visiting Coventry for its abundance of cultural attractions, diversity and quality of food, shopping, people watching, architecture, and just for experiencing something different from their daily environment. It was a city of Culture 2021, just ended last month, and has had many attractions, concerts, live shows and festivals. I have had an ample time to visit and stay in Coventry last and this year because of my business activities.    My visit to Coventry were more about excitement and stimulation rather than relaxation, outdoor recreation and spending time in warm weather, which was also nice but a completely different experience. It’s nice to do both.

Coventry is a city of diversity and quality of cuisines. There’re lots of restaurants in the city yet limited number of them has become my favorite.  Sultan Restaurant was one of them.  It has been serving the community for more than 10 years as a Turkish Cuisine and become many people favorite restaurant.

Sultan Restaurant is located in FarGo, where is an artistically re-purposed industrial space in Coventry City Centre, designed exclusively for creative, independent businesses and like-minded visitors.  Located on Far Gosford Street, a recently regenerated area with a rich cultural heritage.  FarGo village is eclectic mix of over 40 independent businesses, including a craft brewery, artisan food, vegan shop, printing, a museum dedicated to Sgt Bilko and a dedicated street food hall. A must place to go, especially on weekends, if you live or visit Coventry.

It is located in the heart of Coventry, at FarGo Village’s Far Gosford Street, just a few yards of 5 hours free parking space.  So you would have an ample time have fun and visit Sultan for lunch and dinner.  It opens 11 o’clock in the morning and closes at midnight all week.

The atmosphere in the restaurant is comfortable, slacken and re-stressed. The space between tables are long enough, and people aren’t seat on top of each other.  During the day, restaurant gets enough light outside, because of its large windows on street side.  The inside is big enough as well.

Sultan’s delicious authentic food and cozy atmosphere making me feel like I am in Bodrum, Kusadasi and Izmir.

The reason I go to Sultan is not just to dine but to enjoy a fulfilling experience as a whole. Ambience is an important part of that experience and includes the handling of kitchen operations, hygiene, lighting, furniture, layout, design, interiors, table settings, chef, and cuisine, and all these things together make Sultan’s ambience.

Coventry’s this cozy restaurant has made an impression on me with its friendly staff, authentic Turkish food, legendary chef, great ambiance, and reasonable price.
